How is it possible to tell if my KA-T is detonating? Are there any special knock sensors I can purchase or something?

i think MSD makes a knock sensor at a reasonable price. and i think you just screw it into one of the few empty threaded holes on the block. maybe try summitracing.com

you can also take out the spark plugs, there's a site that tells you how to read simptoms from checkin the sparkplugs.
