Detonating? maybe?

Alright here goes......I was driving down the highway and exited at my exit.Then all of a sudden when I take off at the light and hit boost I hear a slight knocking noise so I immediatley let off and said a few choice words.At very first I thought it might have been one of my lifters but its not constant.Now any time I hit about 5 pounds it will knock very faintly and if I get on it, which I only did a couple times for test reasons,it is still there but not horribly loud, just there.I changed my fuel filter,gone through two or three tanks of gas all purchased at different locations.I put a timing light on it and, while that was on, hit NEAR the knock sensor and it pulled time for a moment so I am thinking that is good.I am going to get an EGT gauge on monday to see if I am leaning out.Im only running 7 pounds.I have a tiny exhaust leak if it matter but I know for sure its not coming from there because that makes a different sound.Sorry for the long post but if anyone has any suggestions that would be greatly appreciated.Oh yeah I pulled my spark plugs and they looked brown like they should be.Thanks in advance.Sorry my mods are:Walboro 2553 inch exhaust Front mountgreddy valve springsgreddy metal HG

Where in your exhaust system is the leak located?

I'm an idiot. :rolleyes It is leaking where the manifold connects to the turbo.I had replaced that gasket a while back and one of the nuts had fallen off since.The gasket was kinda acting like a whistle but since it was metal it was hitting the manifold and the turbo and making the knocking sound.I bought a new nut and put it on and found that the nuts that connect the manifold to the head were also loose.When I went to tighten the ones on the back I didnt even try hard and the stud broke off inside the head. It deoes not knock anymore. Thanks for your help anyways.:beatfreak :dunce :slap
