my friend got his car jacked the other day and it made me paranoid cuz i have been working 5pm to 12 at my job and i dont feel comfortable leaving my car out in front of home depot at 12 am wit no alarm or nothin... does anybody know a good detatchable steering wheel for the z32 and also is it possible to get a detatchable steering wheel with a tilt? how much?

your steering wheel si detachable, just takes a few wrenches, any racer supply house sells quick release hubs, some of them require welding, and they don't tilt, that has to happen in the column and the Z32 didn't get a tilt column, your worries it'll get stolen, unplug the ptu, and or the cas, it won't go anywhere, or just get good insurance and an alarm with starter interupt

A local race shop will be able to hook you up with a quick release hub no problem.

not if you get the weld on type

it's a 3 piece, design, one part goes on the column, one piece goes on the wheel, and when you put them together there is usually a key that holds the 2 togetherhttp://www.stockcarproducts.com/steer10.htm
