detailing the Z

Well only 7 days till the BIG spring meet and my Z is a bit dusty. Its a nice sunny March day in KY with a temp of about 57. Still a bit chilly out but I am going to brave the cold to get the Z super clean. I will post up a photo or two after I get finished.

Who else is going to clean their car today?

I got the picture department covered

Dane, I plan on cleaning the 240 some today, but will wax it later on in the week. I am currently wiring up my fogs to come on with my corners and not just my headlights. Will looks awesome when I am done I think

No cleaning yet for me. It's supposed to rain this weekend and next week, so hopefully we will have some decent weather before the meet so I can clean up the G.

Deatiling will have to wait as I'm doing the rear brakes this weekend. Nothing fancy, just changing pads (with shims) and runnign the rotors down to be turned.

Dan, I did mine different that yours. You ran a new swtich and everything, I didn't. I just wired them to come on as the corners do, that way I wouldn't have to have the headlights on to have the fogs on, just the corners. Looks great, I will get pics tonight.

so will i, yeah i ran a switch, mine didnt have one stock:pface... but its the same thing, only comes on when the corners do.

The inside of this car is a continuation of the outside. I love the seats.They really hold you in place.One of my next mods will be to have them wrapped in leather.

All the junk in my car was tossed on Friday and she got the once over with the vacuum... too cold to do much else. Its soo nice to drive around and not hear stuff being toss around in the back, lol. Ill do a more detailed cleaning later this week when it gets closer to the meet... Can't wait to see everyone’s cars all cleaned up Ill be sure to take lots of pics this time...

Well I had to drive my Z today in a light rain which got it all dirty.It was for a good cause though.I got my windows tinted and it really looks good!

We got 4 or so inches of snow north of Cincy today .

Good thing I only did a preliminary wash this weekend after the brakes.

Yeah I have been watching the weather like a hawk.We may get a light flurry or two wed night.It's Looking good for Fri and Sat here in KY though!
