I am probably going to go with some Tomei cams or Greddy cams. I don't know about the S4 cams. Check out http://www.jspec.com for some cams. I think they have HKS cams and maybe others with different sizes of lift and duration.

greaser and a.bailey are both using the S4 cams...they really like them....they are drop in, and you dont need to do valve springs or anything or whatever... i think they are a waste of money, and would just build the head and go with some custom worked cams or tomei or jun or something, but thats just me.....S4 are simple, and do give good results...

the 270s will require some springs because they are very big in lift. Look at the tomei package at jspec and you can get a tomei metal head gasket, valve springs, and a tomei rocker arm stopper. For a price of 500. Two of the three products are necessary for higher boost so you may as well get the package for perfoemance sake.

S4's are excellent cams to use in a rwd sr20det.

with 264 mm of duration and 11.5 mm of lift, they are NOT weak cams at all.

certain cams by hks / jun are pricier, and have similar durations and lifts.

if you want to keep the stock valvetrain and stock rev limit, i would stay with the S4s. they're excellent choices and have proven power gains of 50 whp with certain setups, with more to be found with the tuning.

I have seen 256 degree in/ex cams used in an option video. They where drop in cams with minor mods, intake and exhaust. There was a 30ps gain at top end with a minor hp decrease at lower rpms. Very streatable though. My buddy runs 264 in/ex cams. Not sure what the ps gains are though and his car drives very nice. Destin
