hi guyz i own an a31 with rb20det fully stock and recently it has been acting strange first it was cutting off and sometimes it just wont move unless u rev it up and release the clutch i showed it to a mechanic he said it was some thing electronic so i went to an auto electrician he checked around fount out the problem to be the part which is behind the filter i dont know wat it is called so he changed it and the problem vanished but it has created a new habbit which is tht sometimes suddenly just for few minutes it will drop its rpm too low hardly enough to drive when u break suddenly the engine gets shut down the electrician checked almost everythng but was not able to find out the problem so i thought i would ask u experts and see if someone else had the same problem.thnx

it sounds like you have a typical problem most rbs have but you obviously havent bothered to search at all and that combined with your complete and utter lack of punctuation grammar and spelling makes my head hurt and makes nobody want to help you also that part you cant figure out the name of that is behind the air filter is called a mass air flow sensor or maf so why dont you try using the flashing search button flashing at the right hand side of your screen and maybe read an english book or two so people on here wont want to completely ignore what you are saying. kthnxbye

Wow, that was almost as painful to type as it was for me to read the crap you wrote. A way to find your answer is in my reply though, so along with my sarcasm is a not only sage advice on improving your ability to communicate in the world but also directions that will help you solve your problem. I hope you take the above to heart.

anyways this is not a forum about grammer its about cars we all love cars so for those who did not understand me let me put it simply.
see it runs perfect most of the times but sometimes the rpms will drop very low and black smoke starts comming from the exhaust but all this lasts only like 10 min then it starts running fine again thts it.NOTE:for some reason its mileage has bcome horrible.
