Well, the lowlife finally caught up with me.

Swerved in downtown Vancouver to avoid a crackhead and hit a pothole, cracked my oil pan. $250 for a tow later and it's waiting on a friends property for me to get a new pan for it, but that's easier said than done. I figured it'd be easy to find something, what with these engines being swapped into other vehicles but no joy on that front, unfortunately.

Does anybody on NICO have a pan they would sell me? Or have a lead? I need to get one to Vancouver, BC In the next couple of days.

I would have hit the crack head than crack the oil pan and possibly damage other stuff.

Honestly, I am sort of irritated that I didn't. Could have probably got myself a new front bumper :T

I'm surprised that you only damaged your oil pan.

Just a fluke. Suspension crossmember doesn't love being this low, but I'll be borrowing a street sign and fabbing a skid plate in the very near future.

Thanks for that, I sent them an email asking about whether they'd ship but I may need to make the road trip :T
