so i finally video taped myself sliding around and realized how ridiculous it is to have an open diff...so opinions now folks, ONLY from people who either sell or wrench for a living, or have these parts...

here are my options

1. VLSDpros-cheap, does the job for half the pricecons-cant hold as much power, wont work as efficiently, not as an aggressive lockup..

all in all, not even an option really

2. KAAZ 2 waypros- "worm gears" dont wear out as easily so i hear, good lockup, 16 clutch plates cons- i donno?

3. tomei trax 2 waypros-name...tomei is HUGE in drifting and JDM tyte...i think it hold up to 12 clutch plates PER SIDE...can we say crucial lockup? mabye if i get into drifting really hard core

4. Cusco 2 waypros-name, clutch type is good...not much else that i know ofcons-none?

Open differential or non limited slip. if one wheel looses traction all the power is sent to it when you have an open differntial. limited slip locks up when one wheel slips so its like a solid rear axle and power is give evenly to both wheels

Open is stock, has traction only to one wheel, VLSD and other puts power at both wheels. I cant believe you dont know that. Especially with that sig...

*whatever*

Just get a VLSD for now, its easy. Save up for another type and you'll have enough practice on the VLSD to constitute owning a massively grippy, JDM tyte differential.

vlsd can't hold as much power? mmhmm. riiiiight.

Tomei CLSD is just rebadged Kaaz. or was it rebadged Cusco... can't remember, too late. It's a rebadged something though.

Nismo or Kaaz is what I'm going to get.

I'll have the new KAAZ Solid LSDs with the RS plates in stock in a few days. They will be shipping to me from KAAZ today. Let me know if you are interested. I can let them go for 880.00 plus shipping. They also come with a free thing of KAAZ gear oil.
