Ok well i swapped my motor and transmission out of a wrecked 97 240 into a 96 did all the 5 speed swap things got a 96 ecu for it and it wont start no spark or fuel i took the car to a shop after tryin for weeks to get it running they said if they take the ground off the fuel pump relay and ground it manuely the fuel pump will kick on. they think its something to do with the ecu. the mechanic called a nissan dealership and they said each ecu is programed for the specific motor and i need to "flash the Ecu" for my motor. i have tried a 96 auto ecu and a 97 5 speed ecu with the same result. the mechanic thinks the ecu isnt grounding out the system and hence no spark or fuel.

Help Pls

no but he can get the fuel pump running he thinks the ecu isnt grounding the fuel pump thus cutting spark
