OK guys - it's time for a legit throwdown!

Image

Our Facebook profile pic is outdated. It's also hard to see on a smartphone or a smaller screen, so we want something with a more graphical representation of who we are and what we do.

https://www.facebook.com/NICOclub

So, here's what you do: Break out your creativity hat, design us a new profile pic, and the winner (as selected by Bex and I) will receive a $50 Visa card from me. Simple!

TO BE ELIGIBLE TO WIN, YOU MUST DO THE FOLLOWING:

1) DESIGN an image (max 4 MB - gif, jpeg, or png)
2) POST your image in this thread
3) Go to the Facebook page and SHARE this thread's link on your page

Here's the link to this thread: design-our-facebook-logo-win-50-from-ni ... 38629.html

If you want to incorporate the logo, it can be downloaded here: NICOclub.com Logo

ALL submissions MUST be posted here by AUGUST 15th at 11:59pm!

The fine print: All submissions become the property of NICOclub.com. A $50 Visa card (USD) will be awarded to the winner within 7 days of completion of the contest, and winner will be notified via the email address associated with their forum account. Entrants must have a valid Facebook page and must share the link to this thread on their page to ensure eligibility. Valid worldwide, even where prohibited by law, because we don't really care about silly laws that prohibit us from giving away free stuff.

Good luck, and let's see what you've got!!!

Is staff eligible? Not that I'd win, I just know we have some graphic ninjas on staff.

What really sucks is when you have a million great ideas, no skills to make them happen nor anything to develop them with. Image

I'd give it a shot if we didn't have to post it on the Facebook page. I don't use Facebook anymore. :\

Are we going to just limit this to one image per contestant?

Here's my first submission, I may make more though:

Image

Images can be replaced/updated when needed and the logo can be flipped in either direction. I chose this layout because you wanted the logo to be more visible, which Facebook doesn't allow for wider images, but you can make them almost as tall as you want. By flipping the logo on it's side, it allows for the logo to appear larger, which allows it to be seen on smaller devices/screens. I also went with the collage look to allow there to be multiple Nissan/Infiniti models to be shown in one image, thus showing some of the wide variety of models we support here.

I'll pump out another one in a couple of days as well :)

I was thinking something simple like one of these with the NICO logo just large enough to actually see in any format. These are just samples... so if someone was to actually take a picture of their own that has enough room to incorporate the logo, that would be better. Alas, I don't have any sweet editing software yet to overlay the NICO logo... so this is only a suggestion.

Anyway... this type of pic.

I'm also going to ask my buddy Travis later tonight. He actually goes graphic design... and could make a sick logo using his truck!

I suck, but through my suckiness, I am left with simplicity.

I'm trying to think along the lines of "if you were to see this image as a thumbnail, you'd still know what it was".
