i have aftermarket 16x7" rims .... and I Live in Florida, as many might know, typical rain fall can be .75-2" per hour, and Rainy season is typically June to September ... Trying to find a good wet tire but at a moderate cost ... I like the AVS Sports, but thats not in my budget, another choice that has been pointed to me is the Falken Azenis Sports .... I would like to get some feedback on anyones opions about their tires now or previous in standing/sheeting water conditions. The currect Bridgestones I have, have as much traction in water as butter does in a hot skillet.

azenis=crap for standing-water traction.

get a set of ZEIX 512 or yokohama ES-100's..what size tires are you looking for? those are both affordable and good(for the price) rain traction, and good dry grip too. whats your budget?

I have Dunlop SP5000 A/S 215-50R15 up North in Vancouver where the rainy season is from September to May. They seem to work OK in the rain, better then the old Pirelli P6000 I had previously. It's kinda hard to tell how good the wet traction is since I installed the turbo ;-)

I have the SP5000's also, they seem to be pretty good in the rain compared to other tires I've shod the S13 with. They're right about in your "price range". Don't expect real high dry-performance from them, but they are an OK all-around tire.

it just so happens I have some awesome 16" wet tires for saletoyo t1s 225/50/16these were fantastic in the rain. I will be buying them again for my 15" SE wheels since I live in the northwest where it rains a lot!

my 16 wheels wouldn't clear my Z brakes. I sold the rims today (velox vx8r 16x7) and the tires are for sale just 3 months olddrop me an email if your interested [email protected]
