Depressed Vert not running...

I felt the need to vent, since us vert guys stick together, I figured I'd get some love here...

Anyway some of you may know, but my vert is ka-t, I'm rocking the usual setup as most ka-ter's, and that would be, JWT ecu, and matched with a SAFC II.

A friend of mine was helping with the install for my gizzmo launch interface, and he accidently grounded out the ecu...

So I have a shot *** jwt ecu, and I tried my buddies JWT ecu, and my car wont' start. I tried to play around with the safc, but realized it wasn't saving anything. So today I went back to double check safc wires, and they are all ok. I checked the ecu for codes, and I got the beautiful code 55.

I love code 55 because it states "Yeah there's something wrong, but I can't tell you" ecu code.

So now I'm in need of a safc II, a jwt ecu (eventually), and I might have to go back into the harness, or replace it all together.

Lol if anyone wants to paypal me i'd be willing to except J/K anyway so I'm kinda assed out of my daily driver/play toy. I have to hitch rides now I really don't feel like driving my old man's dually.

I'm just kinda pissed that I'm assed out of my car, and I have to spend close to 1000 bucks on parts, 1000 bucks I don't have. So I might have to just sell it.

So if anyone wants a sil-faced vert, ka-t fully built, just needs new harness jwt ecu and safc. LMK

You checked the fuses? Your safc is fine mst likely. Ecu even maybe. Sound slike a fuse blwon to me. Worst case scenario get a wiring harness $100 and stock ecu $50 and use your safc for DD just don't go crazy.

yeah i was kinda pissed off when i posted that earlier...the ecu is shot cause i took it apart, the daughterboard is fine, so I'm going to find another #28 ecu, then take my jwt and the other ecu to a TV repair place to have them fix it.

As far as the safc goes, what's happening is it's not saving anything, it's working, but not saving anything.

So if I put in any settings, then crank the car up (or turn it off for that matter) the settings go away.
