Sometimes when I try to start the car nothing happens. With manual tranmission the clutch must be fully depressed before the engine will turn over. Well, lately I've had to depress the clutch about 2-3 times before it turns over. Obviously, there is some type of switch that is just about to "go out". Can you tell me more about this repair. Will this be costly, or is there a simple fix. The starter was replaced about 3-4 months with a rebuilt "Bosch" starter.

There's a little switch..."clutch interlock switch" I think it's called that's right under your clutch pedal. You might want to check if the switch is bad OR it might just be that the little rubber err...thingy on the clutch pedal isn't depressing the switch all the way anymore.

I'd at least start with that as far as diagnosing the problem goes.

make sure the clutch is completely depressing the switch when it is pressed. if it is, use a multi-meter and make sure it opens and closes as you push the clutch in and out
