Depinning Plugs

How do you depin plugs such as the ECU and dash plugs without fugging things up? I cant get the things outta there to save my life.

Well if no one helps soon I'll do a quick write up.

But I'll try to describe- on the blue piece that plugs into the ecu, on the top (where wires go into the plug) there is like little hinges that will pop open. I forgot which direction so be gentle. Once its open you have to reach in from either the plug pin side or the top which you just opened with a super small flathead screwdriver and depress a clip inside. You then pull the wire and pin out. Hope this helps. Sorry for being so vague, i did it a looong time ago.

Get something REALLY REALLY sharp and very thin. Helps to have a bright light and magnifying glass.

I just gotta redo some stuff in my wiring (rb25 in an S14), and this is part of the job

you can get a tool from any tool store specifically to de pin plugs. looks kinda like a swiss army knife (pricey) or seperate tools(cheaper, but bulky) not all plugs are the same.
