depignosing my 240

I'm not really a fan of the pignose, and mine looks especially like **** because the paint is chipping and it kind of sags, so I was looking for a 91+ replacement and stumbled upon this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...33640I was wondering if you guys think I could sand it down/paint it myself, or how much you think it would cost to have done. If I can get it done relatively cheap I might go ahead. Plus the lower lip I have on my pignose is really scratched up and could use new paint, plus I've seen one on a 91+ bumper and it looked sweet. Anyone know if its a direct bolt on? LMK.

Should bolt on pretty much, although I'm pretty sure the new bumper will hang a little lower than the fender when looking at the car in profile. If you are really picky about that kind of thing you might want to get 91+ fenders as well.

Interesting. If I put the lip on from my pignose that would cover it up though right...

I can almost promise you that bumper came off a clip, not a 240.

And the 91+ have this little cover on the fenders that makes it flow with the front bumper a little better.

Keep your pignose, or buy one in better condition. Chuki 180 bumpers look like crap. Plus the vent is way too small.
