So pissed...today I ran into the curb going through a drive-thru. Both the front and rear left side rims are now dented in a few places...not just shallow scratches...more like displaced metal.

I was just wondering if there is a way to fix this myself...maybe some sand paper/filler action?

Depending on how bad it is...this is a great how-to on repairing mildly curbed rims.

I'll try to post pics later on...the area of every dent is about 3/4" and the depth maybe 1/4".

A little curb rash here and there is sexy, IMO.

How so? Even if that were true, this would mean the girl knows how to take a hit or two and can still get up.

A few missing teeth along with that black eye is sexy x100 in my opinion

I used Liquid Metal on one of my old wheels. I went through the entire sanding, filling, painting, clear-coating, sanding, and polishing bit. It came out not bad at all. From 10 feet away, you couldn't even tell it was touched up, but from up close you could. It wasn't too bad at all though. You should give it a shot and if it doesn't come out, you could always take it to a wheel repair shop.

I do wonder how well bondo/filler will hold up to a tire mounting machine.

All i know is when i was outside for black friday (i was first in line and channel 12 news interviewed me lol)... there was a guy in a mustang with chrome 18s... he drove by and was eyeballing the line... and made a turn too soon... his car popped so far off the ground it was nuts... he curbed his rim so bad... and then was too embarassed to get out and look... he kept going... but on the curb he left a pile of chrome shavings.... Hitting a curb/potholes are my biggest fear
