Dent HELP! FUNNY STORY!

hey guys, brand SPANKIN NEW here. thought id join a Versa Forum!

heres my story in a nutshell...

after a long day at work i decided to head to the beach. pulling up to a stoplight infront of me is a brand new dodge charger with some bulky frat dudes inside. without going into much detail, they put their car in park, get out and literally start beating the crap out of each other infront of me.

one happen to throw the other ON my hood of my brand new versa putting a small but slightly noticeable dent in my hood about 4 inches in diameter.

while calling the cops they jumpped into their unmarked brand new charger and sped off.

im left with this dent in my hood and on the inside its being blocked by the metal frame so i cant pop it by hand from the inside (pics coming later)

anyone know a way i can pop that dent out DIY style?

wtf^^ well if that was me i would of gotten a tire iron and started wooping some frat boy a**. but thats just me. have you tried hammering from the bottom of tht hood see if you can un dent it?

There are special suction cups for this that are sturdier than plungers, for body work and glass work. If you know anyone in one of these businesses, maybe they can help.
Also I have a close friend, a mechanic of great skill who used to do restorations and body work on the side, who was very impressed after seeing a demonstration of the paintless dent-repair that's a franchise operation, which uses various metal tools to massage the back side of the dent to pop it out. It's usually about $50 per dent, but a lot of these dents are in hard to get at locations, so perhaps you could negotiate a cheaper rate. Just make sure you hook up with a franchised operation that trains its franchisees.
