deleting stuff and adding color.

so the basics of mine are gone with the exception of the egr.
any tips to get the Egr out with the engine in but the plenum off would be a great help.
I'm assuming all the lines directly on top of the egr are all related to the egr?

does anyone know what vacuum lines i can lose to further De-complicate the engine bay?

also Ive been thinking about relocating the fuse box and batter to another location. ideas and help on that would be cool as well.

then comes the adding color part!

i think I'm going to go with purple as the main accent color. A dark purple like on the lotus elises. I figure purple plenum, with chrome or marigold timing cover, and a black engine cover would be tops, but im open to ideas on the color scheme.

i deleted my egr with the engine in, only hard part was getting the bolts out of the egr its self. if you already deleted the aiv's you should have lost a few vacuums. as for color schemes it would help to know what color car you have. this is mine I painted my engine bay black and my car is red

bloody brilliant mate.

my car is black, and im thinking about purple and gold or chrome for the accents. But not gold gold but more of an orange-ish gold.


or a color that complements purple.

i think im gonna do mine the opposite of yours though.
plenum purple
valve covers the accent color
and balance tube the accent color.

I love that gold/orange, and the black with chrome, but I gotta say the purple just seems to...how to say it? Honda....

it is an odd color purple. the purple i want is much much darker.
