Delaware Dinner Meet VII - Wed. June 15th @ 7pm - Applebee's in Newark!!!

Alright guys, I thought I would invite you all to one of our Wednesday night meets here in Delaware. We usually have around 12 cars or so show up on average, and it would be nice to meet some of you guys over here from NICO. Some of us met at the last autocross, but why meet just once? So here's the lowdown:

When: Wednesday, June 15th meet at 7-7:30pm

Where: Applebee's in Newark, DE on Elkton-Newark Rd (in Suburban Plaza where the ACME is located - Address is 630 Suburban Drive Newark, DE 19711)

Directions from South of Newark, DE -Take I-95 N to Exit 109 B in MD, Rt 279 - Elkton/Newark Rd. towards Newark (I think it's B - it's the second part of the exit and you'll loop around) -Stay on Elkton-Newark Rd until you see Suburban Plaza on your left and turn into the plaza where you'll easily see the Applebee's. Suburban Plaza is rougly 2-3 miles from I-95.

Directions from North of Newark, DE -Take I-95 S to Exit 1 B in DE, Rt 896 N (I think it's B again - it's the first exit for 896)-Stay on Rt. 896 until you get to the intersection for E. Chestnut Hill Rd/Rt. 4 and make a left. It's the 3rd light after you get onto 896. You'll see the Friday's we usually go to on the left corner.-Stay on this road and go over the bridge, where you'll come up on the intersection for Elkton-Newark Rd. -Suburban Plaza is now right across the intersection and you'll see Applebee's right in the Plaza

There's plenty of parking right around Applebee's there, just look for the bright yellow Spec V!

We've had an average of 12-15 guys at these things, so let's keep it up! We also met some guys from NICO Club with some Z's and S-Chassis cars at the last autocross and they may come out as well. I'll be posting this over on there forum as well. Who knows, maybe we'll have like 20 cars or something which would be nuts! I'll be there by 6:30pm to put our name in since we should have a pretty big turnout.

Well how late do you work? We usually end up hanging out after we eat in the parking lot until about 10pm or so. I don't know how late you work, but if you can you should show up after you get off. Of work that is.

Oh well, sorry you can't make it out. But try to keep Saturday, July 23rd open. I'm still working out all the details before I make a thread, but I'm planning a BBQ meet for that day out at one of the State Parks in DE. It'll probably be $5 a head and we'll provide food and stuff. I hope to get around 40+ cars or so there. I'll be posting a thread about it within the next week.

And don't forget, there's also an autocross on June 26th at Ripken Stadium.

I'll be out there at about 6:30pm if anyone else wants to show up early. I figure with everyone else showing up at 7-7:30, if we want a table by 7:30 then our name needs to get in sooner. Also, I'm going to have to leave a little early tonight. My roommate is moving to Florida and tonight is kind of a mini-hurrah for him, so I'll be heading out around 8pm or so. Not that anyone cares if I'm there or not, just saying.

Hope you can make it out man, but you gotta do what you gotta do, so definitely understandable.

I will be there around 730 as well...I plan to work out before I show up and I live 30 minutes away so that should be plenty of time for me.

That's totally fine guys. We'll probably be outside until around that time, if not, look for the huge party of people inside and introduce yourselves!

Also, I think my roommates will be there for a little while. One has a G35 coupe 6MT and the other has a 2004 GTO with some mods. Right now it's looking to be a pretty nice turnout though with the usual turnout from the B15 crowd. I expect around 12-15 cars or so, including everybody.
