Hi All, I came across this website powerxtractor.com through a friend of mine and this new engine sounds pretty impressive, but I don't know enough myself. What do you all think, is it really good as my friend said? Thanks in advance for help

Its a neat concept. However the parasitic drag of two super chargers on an engine would not allow you to 'double the HP of current motors'.

Still, it sounds like a neat idea and could potentially have a future.

hahaha, oh wow..

it's obviously some college dropout's acid-trip induced pseudo epiphany. Maybe he owns a dirtbike, hates rotary's, and is sad his civic doesn't make power and somewhere on the 3rd plateau his brain scrambled them together.

There's no evidence of any engineering behind the idea other than "if we add a vacuum to the exhaust side, we can probably combine the intake and exhaust strokes!" ..which is cited over and over and over again on the site.

I mean, Power"X"tractor? @ Yahoo.com? who's going to take that seriously?

and if there were ever a functional example I'd love to see the rig on the exhaust side, since that's the whole key to the idea. Unfortunately he doesn't talk about it at all other than it just being there, as if it's obviously so easy to engineer and produce that it requires no other mention than that it is required.

Hmmmm.. that website smells like @ss. Not to threadjack but is that a type x wing on the s13 in your sig Neil? Always wondered what that would look like on a coupe.

it's a GT-R32 spoiler. i dont believe the type x wing will fit, since it follows the slight rounded contour that the hatchback has, where a coupe's trunk is totally flat.

I got it from one of Jarco's ebay auctions. They still pop up from time to time.

It's heavy, though.. the trunk springs can't hold the lid up with it installed. Also if you're wondering I don't know if it bolts up to a trunk lid with a stock spoiler, my trunk was spoilerless & i measured like 40 times before finally drilling.

i sort of regret doing that now. I removed it and I wish I didn't have holes to plug..

Wow that site is amazing. This is the only site can advertises, explains, shows gifs, gives contact information, and owns, ALL WITH ONLY ONE PAGE!

Simply amazing. I say buy it strictly due to his marketing prowess. Cant be a bad product....
