Deftones RULE!

Does anybody else here think that the Deftones are the greatest F'in band in the WORLD?:ylsuper

I did see them live last year at Summer Sanitarium, but it would be a longshot for me to say they are the best band in the world. Hell, I liked 3 of the bands at that show better than them.

They're just another average nu-metal group. Other than "My Own Summer" that is.

I liked them... and then I got dragged to a Deftones concert last fall. Deftones SUCKED *** LIVE! I respect them as a very talentaed and artistic band... but they put on the worst live show I've EVER seen. I have seen a LOT of live shows... and seen bands with a fraction of the Deftones talent put on a much more entertaining and enjoyable concert. It is sad when such an established "respectable" band gets WAY outshined by their opening acts whom nobody has ever heard of.

I got a DVD of them in concert and it did sound a little off but oh well when I put one of their CD's in my max and drive its one of the greatest things on earth, besides... you know.

I very much liked their last big video. I forget the name of the song... but the video kicked a$$! They did kind of a tribute to the Pink Floyd Live at Pompai theme. If you've seen the Floyd video you'll know what I mean.
