Definite idle your Z should idle at

I want to know this. It seems that 850-1000 your car is running fine and all. But someimtes my car runs up to 1200-1300 RPMs. It's scaring me too cause the car has a high concentration of fuel smell when I drive it. The idle Really drops when I shift from Park to Drive. Also may I ay, I don't have the A/C belt or the powersterring belt on. Could that have somthing to do with it?

IAA, O2, or EGR is what I think the problem is.

I don't see any smoke so that's good but I don't understand the problem.

I idle at about 800-850. Your high idle is most likely caused by a vacuum leak.

or dirty IAC, right? and i think idle should be a little lower in drive than in park. but yeah 1300 is too high. also, missing a/c or power steering belts should not increase idle.
