Isn't first degree murder where you intentionally kill someone with out need?
Isn't self defense where you do only what is necessary to defend yourself?
Isn't shooting a man lying on the floor with a bullet wound 5 times in the chest not only going beyond what is necessary to defend yourself but also intentionally killing someone with out need?
Yes, the person killed was a criminal and a thief.
If he was caught by police, and was being brought out to the squad car when the shop owner ran out and shot him dead instead of letting him be tried would you still defend the store owner?
How is it self defense when the shop owner is chasing the threat? How is the shop owner shooting and killing a subdued man any different from him deciding to murder the thief later on?
