hello everyone!! i just installed an AEM short ram intake in my 95 s14 se and after driving it for a while, the idle seems to have lowered to about 500 RPM, also at second gear if i put too much gas the car jumps forward and on the way home from the test drive the "check engine" light came on! uh oh!! what could it be?? im not sure if i am imagining things but it seems that there are blue/cream and white "waxy" droplets on my driveway and apparently when i drove it last night for about 15 minutes, the large top breather hose popped off (i was using the stock one but i repleced with new one) !! but i am not sure if the "wax" is from my car hehe!! i am almost 100% everything is hooled up correctly. the senseor plugs are all connecterd, etc. all help is appreciated thanks!!

did you disconnect the battery while you were installing it. The ECU needs to reset if you didn't.

Reset the ECU... (use the search button to answer that question). If the check engine light comes on again.. you have a problem. As for the stuff in your driveway.. no idea. Make sure that you put the IAT sensor, and MAFS back together securely, and make sure the wiring harnesses are all clipped together firmly. Replace the hose clamps.. my AEM kit came with all new screw type hose clamps.. the factory spring clamps should not be reused.. they wear out and lose strength.
