So, about 10:30 friday night a deer decided to tackle the whole
left side of my car, total buzz kill. :tisk:

I know I'm going to fix the poor S chassis, but I'm
undecided. Do I just repair the damage or "restore"
the whole car? I know it needs a fender, quarter panel
and possibly driver's door. I already have replacement
quarter panels that I already planned on installing this
late fall through winter.

Your opinions and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Pics to come early next week.

Thanks everyboby.

I think that is what I'm gonna do, as I said, I've
already got replacement QP's. Luckily, I was
able to drive it to the shop where I work.
Had to pull the left QP a little by hand.
But the drivetrain and suspension systems
seem to be working fine still thank god.

I'm not sure what happened to the deer, lol.
Hit her on the highway going through Richmond city.
There were a bunch of cars on the road though,
so if she made it further into the road she probably got nailed
again. :gapteeth:

Funny, those S14 wheels don't loom to bad with the proper spacing.

When Deers Attack! Needs to be the title of this thread aye?

Yea, attack they do!
I went by the scene this evening and I saw no carcass.

I thought the S14 wheels looked way better on the S13 than
they did on my S14. Which I totaled about this time 2 years ago
on the same road as the deer attack, come to think of it'
that was on a friday, too. :spitout:

Sooo, JWT is now making bell housing adapters for the KA to accept the VQ six speed tranny.
Anybody else see that?

The article I read was printed by DSport they claim
a VQ tranny can be had for around $1700. I assume that
is a junk yard unit. They were saying you also would
need a bell housing for an automatic. And some other
bits and pieces. Pretty exciting though.
