I mean if Sumitomo tires are the parent company, why not carry them as well?

"Just like the theme song from Rawhide, Falken Tire keeps "rollin', rollin', rollin'." The company, a subsidiary of the Japan-based Sumitomo Rubber Industries, makes and distributes tires that run the gamut from original equipment replacement tires for passenger cars to those found on all-terrain and off-road vehicles. Falken's other product offerings include high-performance wheels, suspension products, exhausts, and intakes geared for the consumer automotive market."

"Sumitomo Rubber Industries is on a roll and stays in the swing of things while sitting on the dock of the bay. The company, Japan's #2 tire maker (after Bridgestone), makes tires under the Dunlop trademark. Through its alliance with US-based Goodyear Tire & Rubber, Sumitomo Rubber makes Goodyear-brand tires in Japan, while Goodyear makes Dunlop tires in North America and Europe. Sumitomo also makes golf (under the Srixon brand name) and tennis equipment, industrial products (printer blankets), precision rubber components (for use in office automation equipment), marine products (dock fenders and skirts), rubber gloves, and beds. Sumitomo Electric Industries owns almost 30% of the company, and Goodyear owns 10%."
It would seem safe to say that if a dealer carried Sumitomo, Goodyear, and Dunlop..........well, then Falken should be in there somewhere.
