Deep Exhaust

I have a 2.5l nissan altima s and want a muffler for the car with a nice deep tone. I specifically want a muffler piece not an entire exhaust system. If anyone could help out I would appreciate it.

Typically Stillen makes good go-to products for the Altima, but I'm unsure about anything for the 5th gen. It's going to be difficult to get the sound to be too deep on a 2.5, but a deeper-than-stock tone can be found.

You'll have better luck finding a deeper tone with a full catback as well. Larger piping with consistent diameter makes for a deeper tone as well, and the Altimas tend to have piping compressed and expanded in random areas throughout the system for ground clearance, emissions, and NVH reasons.

Since you have a '13 Altima, you may wish to reconsider getting a quality catback set-up opposed to a cheap universal muffler (fart can). Doing so will yield better overal results in regards to sound, exhaust flow, and fitment.

Stillen sent out emails regarding their Black Friday specials...a lot of Altima mods (full exhaust, body kit, etc).... fyi....
