ive re-used my crappy stock ones like, 4 times and they always seal. this time they looked really rough so i sprayed them with copper gasket maker junk. i dont see any problem with them, but if its copper ones you want, i cannot help you.

I also use the stock asbestos ones. I don't see why you NEED metal ones. Stockers are like $5. Just buy new ones whenever you pull the manifold off.

They're not really metal, but they work just as good and are designed to last longer than the oem pieces, unless you install one upside down and none of these gaskets will last.

I hate to have two threads open on the same topic, but what brand are these magic gaskets you have? A little info would be nice.

Somethings I do keep to myself, but there's no name brand that's shared with me either. All I know is they work, they are reusable, they have a metal center and a durable external covering which is what makes them better than the stockers. However, the stockers will work and can be reused as well.

I am interested as well. I have read about the Fel Pro, but the "magic gasket" sounds like a winner.

Just to add to the thread a little bit... Remflex makes custom gaskets if you want and they guarantee them to not blow out.

My Remflex's are awesome.

Cool, did they make them for your CA or what engine do you have?

I didn't have any made for me.. I just bought a turbo flange gasket and dump pipe gasket from them for my CA.

sounds like 92-on Euro spec genuine gaskets, there were 3 different versions of OEM gaskets, the very latest ones had metal rings around the ports and the stud holes.

Genuine Gaskets every single time for me, I've only ever had problems when I've used pattern parts

So can these be sourced in the USA?

When I pulled a head off the last time it had the metal in the gasket. I would check but Nissan here in Germany sucks (too damn expensive).

Yeah I'm still around! I just can't give you exctly what you want other than the parts themselves. The little pouches have part #s on them, so maybe they'll help. But I personally could care less about part #s as long as the stuff works.

So how much you want for them? Or where did you get 'em from? Thanks Dee.
