I have a budget of about 10K and want to get a 240SX to put an SR20DET into. What would be a good car to try and locate and where could i get a good price on a front clip, either an S13 or S14. Also, I live in northern Virginia so where would be a good place to get a swap done?

for 10K total price.. go with a S13. you can prolly buy one for like under $5000 (I could be wrong) and then use the other $5000 for the swap AND some goodies!

first of all...heavythrottle.com, enjukuracing.com, phase2motortrend.com, afterdark-tuning.com, and rollhard.com for jesse....i think heavy throttle might be in that area. with 10k you could have a lot of SR potential. get a $200 body, drop SR in, and go from there. next time post this in SR forum though.

Well your only option "pretty much at least" would have to be a s13, and you could more than likely get one around 3.5k. Then you would have plenty of money to harness a sr20, not to mention then you would def. need a lsd. Good luck.

p.s. how far are you from Cinci Ohio??? I know a kick *** shop up here, but he is kinda steep but the best work around here.

Its okay, nothing to write home about. Gotta make sure you use lock-tight stuff around all the screws and s***. Otherwise you could end up at the track missing gears cause the damn shifter keeps spining around.... just like me a couple months ago, urgh!!!!

hahaha.... don't mind him... just do a little search next time.. there is vast amounts of info here about every engine that you can possibly put in a 240. just search for it and you shall find the answer!
