Not liking. The whole machined/gloss black contrast has been beat to death, and the pattern looks busy as hell. Will definitely get the bling factor, if that's what you were looking for.

BTW vi3t89, nice wheels but not sure about the rivets. Definitely needs a drop but what size / offset are the wheels as well as tire size are you running. I guess that would determine if you will be able to drop or not....

It's pretty easy to spot ugly *** rims when you see them. people on the forums are too nice - sometimes people want an HONEST opinion. hey if he likes the rims then great. but in my honest opinion those rims are ugly. like someone else said, there are worse choices out there, but all in all those rims are ugly. period. if you wanna cry about it, go to your mama.

All I was trying to say was instead of just saying 'uuuuuuuuugly', you could've said it in a smarter or less jerk-like way. Hmm, maybe thats beyond you. People post their pics to get feed back/constructive criticism, not scathing and rhetoric remarks.

In that case, he did kind of ask for it, and in that scenario, I don't think he was too shocked at the responses he got. I think he himself even said that the rims don't look as good as he thought they would...

anyway, I think its all in the thread title... when I post threads, I don't say "hey guys what do you think", because usually I.D.G.A.F. about what anyone thinks regarding my mods, so I don't even ask. If its something I'm creating, like the GTR tail light overlays, then I'll ask folks because that's something that may affect other people since my final design will be up for sale.

In any case, I do think we can be a bit sensitive on this forum, vi3t89 didn't seem half as bothered as some of you other guys on here, and its his car

I think the honest opinion here is that the rims are not my style. However, that is different from saying they are ugly. I think they look good and look good on the car.

There are some rims that I think are ugly - and some of the guys here have liked them. I probably would not call anyone's rims ugly - but if asked I would point out what I don't like.

Either way we'll all have to wait a month or so to see how YOUR rims will look

Not to thread jack or anything...but Sacky does say other things:

doesnt look too bad... but kinda just looks like stock rims painted black.... still like the black on black look!

EDIT: looking from the side, the A/C definitely needs that stillen bumper or lip... its wayy too high
