I have Too many ideas.... SOOooo its up to nico to decide for me, because sadly enough I can't decide for myself. Please don't turn this into a motor vs motor!

You could "Call me stupid, say its pointless, use the KA, waste of money, stupid ricer" (Feel free to say ANYTHING on your mind)Moving right along... The goal of this build is PURE hp# I am very aware of the work/price of this entire build. Any input from people who have had it done would be very helpful... brand/compression/sleeved?/bhp/how long did it last?

Pretty much the sum of this is:Would you rather see a Stroked SR build or another normal RB26 build? The motor would most likely be just display

This build won't happen over night. Don't expect much progress until late April.

Thanks-Jeff

(For the people who was wondering whats wrong with the "Cluster dead" thread. It turns out the cluster shorted due to bad grounds.)

Build what you want to build. Why let some kids pick for you? I'm almost positive SR will win out because of the hype, plus this is in the SR forum.

true.. but i really can't decide. If anything, I would like to do both builds. This would just decide for me what to focus on.

(I forgot this was in SR land. Mods could you please move this to general?)

Forgot to vote. If you really want a high HP build with usable power, go with RB. Stroking is not particularly necessary, but definitely wont hurt. Who would complain about more torque?

Man. I edit too muchThe longer it takes to build the better. I rather have something I could work on for years then something that would be finished at the end of the year.

For sure I know there are other motors that do it better and cheaper. Why it has to be a nissan... beats me.

There's no option for "Give the money to Hijacker to buy a new clutch and flywheel for his SR rebuild"

I can add that for ya if ya want

i voted srs. but after seeing that you want it to last longer then a year. then i would sy an RB. but the crazy thing is why would you wanta build to last for ever. i have been building mine for about 6 months now and i want ot drive it so bad, but i am short on funds. lol plus therer is liek 4 ft of snow out side so i couldnt drive it even if it was done.

hey hijacker did you check out my ACT clutch and fly wheel i got.

Wow, the funny thing is. I enjoy building stuff. Ima builder not a driver lol. The SR is already plenty of balls for me It doesn't have to be bullet proof. As long as the build takes forever

You guys are gonna be really mad at me... but here it goes.I might have to venture out to the USDM world.... LSX build Flame me when its done hahaha

Do a normal SR build and be happy

Engine versus engine aside, the stock (forged piston or stock piston) SR20 gives you great bang for buck, and is damn hard to blow up.

ps: bigger bore IMO is more worthwhile than a stroker kit.

Currently own a SR ;]Bore > stroke Just because the cost is why it draws my attentions.

Finally got internet back also! Whoooo! Could check nico in my own home now (yay)

Just stop now... or you will be sucked into a money devouring black hole known as turbocharged Nissan cars like the rest of us lol.

But in my opinion SR FTW. Direct bolt in, minor wiring, huge supply of parts( unlike RB motors)
