I've been searching on the net for some decent, but low prices for a S13 Redtop SR20DET to swap inside of my 1995 240sx. I visited http://www.japandomesticmotor.com/ and it seems like there price for purchasing and shipping is around $1700. Is that a nice deal, or is the price to low(which means low quality)?Thank you

I took a look at the website and it didnt seem to accurate. The CA18DET is a 240SX motor last i checked not a 300ZX motor, and the SR20DET GTiR is a FWD Sentra motor not a 240 motor.... Also the price seems a little low for the motor i suggest u try Heavythottle or enjukuracing they have great engines and great costumer service (thanks Jeff for all the help ). So i wouldnt trust them to much its better to pay more now then later. Although your choice.

If someone can't provide accurate descriptions of an engine they're selling, how can you trust that they've checked it out adequately? You'll end up with a crap engine that's been sitting in a junkyard for years, chopped harness, missing critical parts, low on compression, blown turbo and the list goes on...

If they can't even get the information correct, I can't imagine what would happen if they sent you the wrong parts.

I'd keep looking...

Check your other post as well, but there cardinalperformance.com is right here in the Atlanta area. Chip will actually run the motor with you there so you know it is good. Jarco is on the northside. I think they will also let you run their clips. Personally I've used Cardinal, but a lot of people on the boards have used both. Just search for people's opinion of both vendors.
