1" = a lot? Or does the sunroof on the G37 take up more space than the G35?greg_atlanta wrote:Jump on it, a no sunroof car is hard to find -- a lot more headroom.
Not sure about the coupe, the in the sedan no sunroof adds at least 2 inches of headroom in front and about an inch in back. Nissan is not known for efficient use of space with sunroof design.Sentientbydesign wrote:1" = a lot? Or does the sunroof on the G37 take up more space than the G35?
I think it probably is much closer to an inch than 2 inches as far as additional space. That said it was one of the reasons I did not purchase a coupe. I am not all that tall yet I felt the lack of headroom in the coupe.greg_atlanta wrote:

Thats not the issue. Nissan makes Moonroofs. Thats why there is a big hunk of headroom missing. There is 1.7 inches of headroom lost in the coupe and 1.4 inches in the sedan. They lose lots of headroom because nissan makes the roof integrated type, not the separate type. If they did, the car would look tacky with the moonroof protruding out the top of the car, though the interiour would only lose about half the headroom as the integrated type.greg_atlanta wrote:Nissan is not known for efficient use of space with sunroof design.
