How do you guys feel about decals on the Versa?

Most people here seem to plan on eventually putting parts from DC sports, AEM, Stillen and a few other companies into their little Versas, some of these products come with decals and others have decals that you can buy.

So lets say you do put in all of these performance parts, would you then put the decal on your door/bumper/wherever?

If I saw a nice looking Lancer with decals on the door listing all of the companies that made the performance parts in the car I thought, "Sweet, I bet that car is pretty fast". If I saw the same on a Versa would I think to myself- "Thats cool: a sporty Versa" or "Man, that guy doesn't have a clue"?

What do you all think, would it look sporty or ridiculous?

I will only put a sponsor sticker on my cars when they give me FREE product or if they pay my way to a event and when the event is over if I dont have some FREE product the sticker is removed.Another thing is at alot of car shows if you put on the promoters sticker you will get extra points from the judges under the display category. So why give a manufacture free advertising because they gave you a free sticker with your product that you paid full price for in the first place?

Some people actually pay for those stickers. Its a way to dress the car up, says "This ain't no stock car" or something like that. Because those mods affect the performance of the car it makes sense to people who want to show off the improvements they have made. Anyway a lot of my buddies are into souping up cars and they will usually use the decal and it usually looks good, provided the car doesn't look like crap.

I was just wondering is it would make sense dress up a a non-performance car like a performance one with stickers when you are just using production performance parts whose performance enhancing abilities are questionable.

It's a matter of personal preference. Some people may think "hey, cool, it's modded" and some may say "wow, what a ricer".

Personally, I don't like putting company logos on my car. I would probably put a nissanversa.org sticker on it, simply to advertise the forum... and if I had another insane ricer streak in me, I'd put vinyl graphics on, but no company names.

(and yes, I have had that insane ricer streak pop up before.)

I don''t mind stickers as long as the person ACTUALLY has the parts on their cars haha

I personally wouldn't put a lot of stickers on my car simply for the fact that it gets unwanted attention by cops and thieves alike.

I think if company logo's are places in the right spot and they are minimal, I don't have a problem with it. Personally, I think the flames and whatever else people put on there car in quantities is too much. I like simplicity.

But, IMO, and this has been said many times. You should do what is right for you. Who cares what other people think. Modding a car is all about style and individuality.

my opinion is most stickers/decals are rice. I would only put a VersaSpeed.com sticker on my versa if it was small like 4 to 6 inches long. Thats about it. No AEM, Gtech, or some domestic Holly stickers some ricer imports put on there car lol.
