I'd like to remove just the i30 badge on the trunklid, but I can't tell if there are pins that hold it on or if it's just an adhesive...any ideas?

It should be just adhesive (except for the grille). You can use fishing line to remove emblems from the painted body panels. I would recommend using 3M adhesive remover for the remaining adhesive. Some will recommend Goo-gone, but I have never read anything that states it is not harmful to the clear coat. The 3M is ok for clear coats.

thank you many I will look for that adhesive remover....I like the way the I30 badge looks but there isn't one on the other side so it's not symmetrical and that bothers me haha. next mod is wine chiller in the trunk you can access when you fold down the center arm rest

It often helps as well to heat up the badge with a hair dryer before using the fishing line. That was what I've done for other cars.
