Are you seeing outlines from adhesive or color difference between faded/non faded paint?

open an account at a hosting site like photobucket and use the IMG link.

When I debadged mine I used some googone to get the sticky stuff off and then waxed the area. If the paint is faded around the logo maybe some wax and polish/buff are the only things I can think of.

are you the guy I was talking to on youtube the other day?

I have the outline too.

upload the pic to your photobucket account. click on the photo (here's mine) and you'll see to the right options for embeding the pic. use the IMG format. copy the text there and paste it here.

wax wont remove that, clean the area with a citrous based cleaner, get some fine polish and use a polisher to remove it (take your time n dont be to aggressive). That should do the trick ;) !

what kind of car wash you talking about? those drive through ones or professional? Unless professional, I wouldn't let them touch my car. You could try a polish you can do by hand with a micro fiber cloth.

You know what....it does. It makes sense because I remember using that on my old car and a while later i noticed a a vary light fade.

where's the pics of said "ghost"? I've been wanting to debadge mine for a while, but I'm worried it might have that too from color fade.

Would my red car have a lot of fading after about a year and half?
