Who runs these on their car?? I have them and my car was currently at AMS getting tuned and was having issues due to the injectors. Did anyone else experience problems with them?

Well my injectors seem to be dumping too much fuel because it runs rich as hell, and doesnt want to idle, keeps wanting to die. AMS from Chicago IL tuned it and they double checked and said its the injectors fault the car is actin like that.

nissanfanatic runs the 615cc injectors but since dave was flow testing them on the old machine, they ended up being 20% larger then the 615's so he basically got 728cc injectors!!! damnit i sold him those injectors!!! now i regreted it, he definitly banked off me. i want those injectors back from him!

anyways are you sure that your injector o-rings aren't pinched? that would cause it to be uncontrollibly rich.

lol thats funny...

chicago - my injectors popped in fine with no problems with no lubrication. my 480cc's ran rich at first and -50% on the AFC could barley do it. but when i rechecked the o rings...the 3rd injector was slightly smashed. i swapped it and it works perfect now. check out your o rings like tat says

AMS did that for me, they checked the fuel rail and installed new o-rings and still the same issue. At first when we dynoed it was the o-rings, then they replaced them and dynoed again car made like 8 whp more but still the same issue. This is what Ivan (PHAT-KAT) from AMS said the car was doing on the dyno:

We are really having a tough time with the tune on the car... Right now the car starts and idles perfectly and warms up well... It seems that it can be driven in vacuum... On the dyno as soon as a pull is done, the car freaks out and will not idle and low throttle response sucks... WOT performance is still good though.. almost like an injector is stuck open...

.... that was after the new o-rings. I drove the car home and it kept wanting to die when the rpms dropped, had to keep it in higher rpms. Also it was backfiring like no other... sounded like I was doing a driveby.....

Do you think one faulty injector could cause all the mayhem??? Because one of them look a bit weird, I mean I know the injectors arent brand new, but out of the 4 three looked like they were brand new and the third one was a bit more beat....

Could it be anything else??

Only takes one injector to cause issues. I would give Deatchswerks a call and ask them what to do. I am sure he can have them flow tested again to make sure the injectors are working properly. That way you are not guessing if the injector is bad or not.

I am running 740cc injectors and JWT ECU. The only problem I have run into is that it runs real lean at idle. I have to set my SAFCII +30% to get the AF to around 14.7.

I dont know what my idle is but the car keeps wanting to die and I get loads of backfire when I decelerate, once the car is warmed up when I drove it home I had to keep it at around 1-2 so it wouldnt die on me.

I've got the 555cc and have never had a problem besides a bad o-ring.

Have you guys been monitoring pulsewidth? If the efi control is not providing an erroneous pulsewidth at times when this is a problem, then you should look into injector issue.

What type of ecu monitoring are you using?
