Death Rattle

Hello there. I have an 82 king cab that vibrates loudly one i hit 65mph it doesnt seem to effect the power or handling, just a loud vibration. I thought it sounded like the engine until someone said it could be the rear ball joints. now, normally i would investigate that, but another guy with the same truck was having the same issue. Just wondering if others have had it and/or advice on a solution. sorry- small engine guy here, new to the game.

no steering wheel wiggle. everything is pretty normal except how crazy loud it gets

Rear ball joints? There aren't any ball joints on the rear, are there?

How big of a speed range does it happen at? Do you see any feathering or shark teeth on the insides of your rear tires? Does the sound seem like it's coming from any particular direction, and/or can you feel any buzzing with any part of your body?

I know that in my truck, the rear window will pick up a resonance sometimes, so maybe try pushing your fist against the rear window while it's happening.

its a vibration noise at 65mph and up. nothing in the cab is actually vibrating. tires are ok
