I believe the post was mostly referring to posting in the Infiniti Online Mechanic section.Kiven422 wrote:Pardon me if I may sound rude and I don't have any car starting issues but I came to this forum for help and the intention to help others with benefits. Its not like one "car won't start" issue is the same issue that everyone else is having... Mixing those topics is a hazard. If anything the best option would be a "Car won't Start" subforum. With so many mechanical things running in the car there are so many different things that can cause problems. The best way to figure it out and save money is find someone thats already been through it. Where else can you find those people?
First things first! Approach car with key/clicker in hand, enter car in the usual manner after seat adjustment with seat adjuster button on door (if applicable). And be seated.Do the usual preening, using little mirror above, "man I'm lookin' gud" stuff etc. Fast forward.bullittandy wrote:Sorry to jack this-but.
My car won't start-what could it be?
Any help appreciated.
I think you're out of gas. Pour in a gallon and see what happens.bullittandy wrote:Sorry to jack this-but.....My car won't start-what could it be? Any help appreciated.
And of course, as always, the gasoline goes in the brake fluid reservoir when you're in troubleshooting mode. That way you can bypass the hydrostatic rod to make sure it really is a fuel problem.goody94q45 wrote:

or
Clean the MAF, clean all the engine electrical connectors, check the battery posts, jumper the fuel pump, clean the TB, ohm the injectors and KS, pull the ECU codes, and let us know what you find.
Your post makes a good point though.
Still. Rather then searching, he'd rather make a jillion threads.Woot! wrote:Nobody is forcing you to read them.

It actually goes with what my original post was about.Haitian_King wrote:
Quite the most random statistic that I've seen on the board.
Probably a great combo of both...Haitian_King wrote:Is it really the inability to read? Or just an abundant amount of obstinacy and laziness?
Well done, grasshopper!Haitian_King wrote:I was quite surprised at the ease and simplicity of the NICO search engine. I can generally find what I need quite quickly. Sometimes, I have to exhaust all of the available methods of getting information. (Q45 forum, current, archived, post body, thread title. The same for IOM)
Another thing that can help is to Google what you're looking for. 9 times out of 10, any Q45 questions point to the NICO board and the most relevant thread.
