I'm not sure Clinton and his achievements should be linked in the same grouping as Lincoln or Kennedy but i do agree that Obama needs to step up and perform in his own spotlight, not in the shadows of others. By signing this bill, he has laid a great responsibility at the feet of the American people. Without proper management safeguards in place, it concerns me greatly that this money will be poorly managed as it was with the original bailout fund. Also, when this money has been distributed and spent, if the economy has not recovered, what then?

No one has failed or succeeded at anything here. My point is simple. Take a look at your post title and then take a look the URL you attached… Now, look at your mindless fragmented chatter. It’s almost as if you were searching for something to justify you hatred and disgust and some how you managed to pull up the BBCs link for the Stimulus to move your diminutive point.

Example: I hate stock rims, so I find a link to a GM car site and begin to bash the cars on the sales lot with stock rims, so it’s almost as if you went a long way to make a point that isn’t there.

So, in your case you probably hate Obama and you will dissect any and every little thing you read and see in efforts push your hatred and disgust.

I dislike how he tries to invoke these images of great leaders as though it somehow validates his actions. They are irrelevant. There is no reason to bring them up other than to stir emotions.

I am with you Matt. I think it was one of the NPR columnists that speculated that if Reagan came back from the grave, that Reagan (in today's political atmosphere) would not be 'Reagan Enough.'

Wait, what? The number went from 10 million jobs to 3.5 million? What will be the number jobs projected to be saved when the funds in 2010-2012 hit? 1million - 750k?

I read one report that said over 60% of the infrastructure workforce would be existing DOT workers and such. So we are only looking at an additional 40% of the blue collar work force? That can't be that many people.

I have yet to see anything that helps SBO's in any of the bills. SBO's provide the vast majority of jobs.

Alright maybe "hate" was the the wrong to use and for that.......... my apologizes. Its not un-common for a president to reference another president during a speech. I've witnessed previous president do it on a number of occasions, so you may be taking it too serious. I think the fact that you dis-like what he’s done so far only fueled your fire, so why not lash out at the smallest detail, right? That BBC source was full of information and for you to pick out Obama using a previous presidents name or names was nit picky. Thats all.
