Just so you all know, I have the dean wintercat tires for the versa, and while they are insanely good in the snow, they are not good at all in the rain. The tiniest bit of water just makes them spin. Also, stopping at speed can be an issue, as I found out tonight. Went to stop for a light and I slid completely through the intersection (wheels locked up). Speed may or may not have been a factor.

Huh i would think that winter tires would make better rain tires.

Never had to get snow tires living in Ga. When it snows or there is Ice everything closes down so there is never anywhere to go, except the liquor store cause its always open during bad times lol.

Me too. Does anybody else have problems putting down the power in the Versa? I feel like if I rev over 2500 rpm at launch I'l just spin.. Some people are thinking of doing turbos or superchargers, or even just the mr20 swap, but whats the point if the wheels start spinning on every launch.

Note: I have this problem in the dry sometimes too. Maybe I need stickier tires

hahaha. No, I have the steelies for now. I'll be getting new rims in the spring I'm looking at some flat black 17's, although I might just get them in 15 because of the cost..

yeah the steelies are way to skinny as for aftermarket rims I would go with atleast 16 cause 15 just dont look right, even if its slammed the V's really need as little wheel gap as possible. But keep the Flat blck its the best color EVER!!

its no secret. I'll post up a link to the tire shops website. They have a search feature for tire and rim packages that fit your car, which i thought was pretty nifty.

So the 15's would be 800, the 16's would be 1200, and the 17's would be 1050 with the tires I want. I could also settle for the "knight" rims which would reduce the cost by a bit for each size. 15's would be 750, 16's would be 1100, and 17's would be 950. I like the Maze rims better though.

I'm going for a black and silver look, if you couldn't tell.

and it was the 15's and 16's that had the same tires, not the 16s and 17s like i said earlier. so the 17s probably have cheaper tires which make them less expensive. as long as they go, it works for me :)

basically any black rim would work. I plan on tinting the taillights and rear windows as well. My friend has this all on his silver saturn and I think it looks mad.

I love the black on silver effect. If I had a red versa I would probably black everything out as well.

I found a tail light tint kit that is just one of those peel and cling films and its supposed to be a Versa sedan specific kit. I'm going to order it and see if its any good. I'd rather try that before I permanently spray my tail lights. The front windshield will have the top 6" tinted at 25%, and the rear windows and rear windshield will be fully covered at 30%.

I'm gonna add this to my intro/build thread as we've gotten fairly off topic. We went from tires to tint..
