Not much to learn here, just my 5 cents about Nissan dealership fees.

Needed to install rear coil bumpers in pathfinder 02.
Dealer wanted $260
My mechanic did for $20 (+$5 tip )


$260 for a 15 min labor? Please Nissan get real!!!

Hey, c'mon now...
You know it's about $150/hr labor rate charge.

Maybe 30minutes to retrieve the paperwork from the queue.
another 15minutes to read the work needed
10min bathrroom break
another 15minutes to re-read the work request
and then 15minutes to do the job
JK.

It sucks, but sometimes the simpler jobs are better left to the private shops. So far, the only reason I've taken my Q to the dealership was to order parts, and to get a key cut and programmed
However, I've never owned a brand new car before, so I've never been obligated to take my car to the dealerships.
