Two weeks ago I purchased an M37S brand spankin new. I took off the front plate to see how it looks, only to find 2 deep scratches on the bumper. I called Infiniti and they said no prob we'll fix it. Took it in and the paint guy offers to plug the license plate holes for me free, I agreed. Then when I got it back I noticed new paint discolorations and scratches.. About 5 diff areas. Called again and they said sorry we'll fix it (again). Eventually picked it up, before I left the dealer I checked the bumper and many of the blemishes were still there along with new ones (again). To make matters worse, they scraped off some of the finish from my chrome grill. The sales manager says to me, "well, u wanted the plate off so those scratches are your problem". That's bull! They're the ones who keep messing up! So I become irate an say I want my money back then... The sales manager storms off and says "get the proper paper work" to return the car. I never heard from him again. So I go home and call consumer affairs.. They say because of all the hours put into my repairs, the dealer cant authorize anymore repairs. So now I gotta send pics to consumer affairs in hopes to have a regional manager approve a repair. So then I tell my wife, and she's pissed! She calls the dealership and speaks to anothe sales manager, he gets so angry with my wife that he hangs up on her! WTF! And the GM of the Infiniti dealer doesn't even call us to explain or alleviate the problem, real professional. So now all I can do is wait and see what consumer affairs says, I'm being screwed here.. What do u think? Oh and I forgot to mention that this is the 2nd time calling consumer affairs on them. The first was a few days earlier when I was quoted 3 diff prices for parts and labor for a spoiler I wanted to buy from them. Dont I have an argument here? What do you think?
