So I was wondering why my new ride was kinda rough.. Turns out the dealer had my stock tires at 40PSI was the recommended is 32PSI..

WTF is up with that? Any comments or thoughts?

I had a similar experience about 2-1/2 months ago when I got my new 3.5 coupe. They were inflated even higher than 40 -- close to 50 when hot. If I recall correctly, a service tech explained to me that the cars are delivered that way, and one of the things the dealership is supposed to do to prep the car is to deflate and reinflate the tires to the correct pressure. Never checked that out, though, so I don't know any more about it. It certainly is disappointing, however, to get a new car and find somebody forgot to do something -- makes you wonder what else somebody forgot.

Your tires will be that way when REAL hot. Anywhere from 45-55psi.
