Dealer NAV package vs. aftermarket?

I bought the 2012 SL a few months back but am contemplating adding a nav system. I can't decide if I should just go to the dealer and upgrade through them or install an aftermarket system? Input on both would be great!

Looking around the web, prices seem to range from the $300-1200, with you doing the install. Depending on the price from the dealer, and how much you want to spend, that should determine which route you want to take if you have your heart set on getting one. Good luck
