Dealer Maintenance - Worth It?

Hello-- I recently bought a 2004 G35 coupe and am really enjoying it. It only has 17k miles on it and I get my first oil change free. I am not mechanically inclined and wonder if I should go to the dealer for future maintenance or use an independent.

Also, how much should I expect regular maintence costs to be?

I would stick to the dealer for the warranty period. After the warranty period, you probably could go to a reputable independent mechanic for some things, but there are certain things for which the dealer will only have the knowledge or remedy.

Regardless, for many years to come, the vast majority of your parts will be only available via the Infiniti dealer.
