Dealer-installed alarm dongle question, clutch rattle question

Two things:

#1: when in neutral with my foot off the clutch pedal (and the radio off, of course) I can hear what sounds like a rattling from the clutch. Flooring the clutch stops the sound. Anyone else have this problem? Going to the dealer on Friday but thought I'd ask first.

#2: Universal Nissan (in california) where I bought the car had what appears to be an alarm dongle installed under the dash. Another dealership said they if they diagnosed an electrical problem while that thing was attached, it wouldn't be covered under warranty as the dongle "might be the cause of the problem." I've asked Universal to remove the dongle twice; the first time they claimed it was part of the keyless entry system (not true) and the second time they claimed they removed it -- but I just found it still wired up and tucked up in the dash wiring. It has a white circle on the front, a push button on the back, and what looks like 4-6 wires going into the wiring harness. Does anyone have any idea what this thing is?

i have that too and i have yet to find out what it is... maybe its an ejection seat button :P

Throwout bearing in your clutch might be gone, same with my old civic. The cause, couldnt drive a standard properly, always riding the clutch and so forth. Maybe the Versa clutch pack cant take much abuse.

Dongle? Maybe you have a "male" Versa.
