I bought a brand new 2018 Rogue from a Nissan dealership and had a block heater installed as part of the deal. 2 days later the CEL comes on and I take it in to get checked. They said it had something to with the active grill shutters and clear the code. 2 days later it's back on again but I'm working in a different province for a few months and had to take it to a different dealer to get checked out. Well it turns out the original dealership wired my block heater THROUGH the grill and it was preventing the shutters from closing at high speeds. I had to pay to get it fixed because it was not covered since the dealership screwed up. They tell me to go back to the original dealership and they will refund me the work. Except I don't exactly want to drive back cross-province until I'm done here. They took pictures of the bad installation for me and attached it to the bill. I'm thinking I might just take this to Nissan Canada to get refunded instead. Anyone ever have an issue like this and what happened?
