I need to take my M45x to a dealership for the first time for a couple of things. Pulsating brakes, (only 10,000 miles on the car) first tire rotation, and some other small stuff. Does anyone have opinions for dealerships in north NJ or south NY. The closest one to me is Ramsey Infiniti, and then Pepe Infiniti in White Plains.
Thanks in advance.

I have an old friend from NYCMaximas.org who works at Missipiqua (or however it's spelt) Infiniti. His name is Kenny, I think he's the sales manager there. From all the members he's helped, looks like a reputable dealership. May be out of your way though.

Thanks for the advice. Long Island is too far. I guess I will try Ramsey, since it's the closest. Hopefully they will be able to fix the breaks without breaking the bank. I think 10,000 miles to have bad rotors is too soon. If they want to re-surface them for free, I'll try it, but would rather just go with new equipment. Any one have brake work covered under warranty?

In South J the best place is Hallman Infiniti, Maple Shade.
They just changed my rear rotors under warranty! front rotors were cut and the car brakes like butter now

gorolex,
How many miles do you have on your M. Did they give you a hard time, or just fix it without question?

Avoid Infiniti of Manhattan like the plague. Haven't used their service, but the sale and follow-up has been
horrendous

Is there an advantage going to the dealer that the car was purchased originally?
Anyone been to Fette Infiniti in Clifton, NJ?

I see some bad reviews for some of the NY/NJ Infiniti dealers, can anyone share what bad experiences they have had? I am looking to buy an '09 M35x in December and would prefer not to deal with the non-sense. Some of the dealers listed above are the ones I am planning to visit.

Thanks

If you can, go to Infiniti of Manhasset. They win awards for their customer service. I would def suggest going there. I go there for mine and I love them. And.... every Saturday morning they have bagels lol. Some days, they order pizza lol

I live in Orange County, NY so going to Long Island is not an option for me. Ramsey is actually closer to me but they are charging $200 more for the same 30,000 mile service then Pepe.

I will report back on how things go there.

So I took my 2008 M35x to Pepe Infiniti this weekend for its 30,000 mile service and have to say I have no complaints, other then the price, with how the service was.

This was my first time at this dealer and I am happy to report the customer service was top notch. Once I pulled my car into the service room, indoor pull-in area which is new for me, they immediately began taking notes on the car and directed me to the desk to finalize the work to be performed.

The price was more then I was quoted, but still less then Ramsey was charging and because of the mixup they gave me 10% off.

As for the service I have no complaints and will be returning to them in the future. By the way, they did have a couple of donuts leftover when I got there as well as coffee, not sure if this is normal at all Infiniti dealers.

I'm on my 2nd M35 and have NEVER done the dealer service. They are a complete rip off and mostly "check stuff" and not replace stuff.

I live in Northern NJ and STS Tire Center (multiple locations) has done all routine maintenance on my M35s - including brakes, tires, alignment, oil change, filters, etc.

I ususally don't go to the dealer for routine work either but since this was for the 30000 mile service I chose to go that route. Unless it is for warranty work I probably won't be back until it is time for the next big one, is that 60000 miles?

For routine work, I take it to my local Meineke shop who has worked my cars the last few years without issue.

I also agree on Manhasset Infiniti, I know your far but every time I go there I just start naming stuff that bothers me n they replaced everything, no questions asked, in the past 4 months. They fixed all under warranty. New Sport headlights, new rotors, a Sway bar n bushings, new speakers, new dash. The list goes on!

Unfortunately Manhasset is over 2 hours away from me and if it is warranty work that I need done I have no problems going to either Ramsey (45 minutes away) or Pepe (1 hour away).

I will continue to go to my local mechanic though for routine work.
