Saturday night I was at my friends work, AMF Bowling Lanes. After repairing a lose battery connection, I headed in the back to play some Tiger Woods golf and enjoy AC before heading home and getting ready to head out for the night. I realized my doors were unlocked and almost headed back to my car to lock the doors, but passed it off as I would be able to see the car and would only be inside for 20 minutes. Played the golf game, 20 minutes later, came out and my car was gone. Got pissed because I thought my friend had moved it, get halfway across the back parking lot and realize my friend doesn't know how to drive a 5 speed. Grabbed my friend and had him help me search the parking lot ot be sure, realized it was gone, and called the cops. Friends took me out, spoiled me for the night, and didn't hear anything until the next day after work. The officer I had talked to the night before said they had found my car and it was bad news. About an hour away from where I live, they pulled over a car for speeding. Asked for his liscense, which he said he didn't have, gave his name and they went back to the car and ran his name through, suspended liscense, then the results for my plate came back, stolen, and they were waiting for backup when he tooked off. 3 mile high speed chase before they used a 12 gauge to shoot out my back tire, where he then crashed into a ditch. Car is totaled, I only have liabality, not sure on what kind of money I can get, it won't be anything from the person who took it. Really loved my car, but the one thing I did learn from everything is that my friends are true friends, which is a nice thing to know for sure. Friday I'll be gettin an older s13 while I wait for an s14 that I like and save up the money for it. It was the only time that I've ever left my car unlocked while it was unattended, period of 20 minutes that it could be taken. Still don't think I've realized that its gone

When does the guy get out of jail? We could stop by and let him know how thankful you are for the aformentioned events.

Sorry about the loss man, I cant handle people messing with my car. I'd probably end up in jail if it was my situation.
